Good Girl Gone Shopping

Love fashion? You must if you’re reading Charmed’s blog. One of the most fashion forward people I know, Elana Pruitt, founder of the entertaining ‘Good Girl Gone Shopping’ blog, wrote a piece on Charmed recently. Charmed had made earrings for Elana’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding, and gave praise to the Rose Quartz Gold Wrapped Stone Earrings. Office Lemmings

Charmed is featured on Office Lemmings this week. This is a newly found company started by one of my good friends and colleagues from Santa Clara Univerity, Brian Murphy. Office Lemmings is a corporate humor site modeled somewhat after fmylife where users are able to submit their work related stories and frustrations that they experience on a daily basis. Accompanying the site (and the part that Charmed is involved in), they have a blog where they hope to help those disgruntled office workers who posted their frustrations on the main site to make a change and pursue the life and career they desire. Among other things, they feature success stories of aspiring and accomplished entrepreneurs who at one point were part of corporate America, but through their own hard work and vision, were able to break out and pursue their passions.

Charmed on Possessionista

If you’ve been following my recent updates on the Charmed by Ingrid Anne Facebook fan page, you’ve probably noticed that my friend Ali Fedotowsky, who many of you may know from ABC’s The Bachelorette, has been modeling my jewelry around. (Thank you, Ali!) Thank you for stumbling upon Charmed by Ingrid Anne’s website. Whether you’re here because you want to purchase quality jewelry, are a friend of mine who wants to offer support, or you accidentally (but providentially) clicked to my site, I’d like to extend my gratitude for your interest in reading this blog.

The development of this small company has been expedited by several people who I’d like to point out and honor in my first ever blog post. I’ve had the good fortune of being surrounded by especially talented and supportive individuals during this process, and would not have been able to launch this company in the short amount of time without their involvement.

My family (Ana, Alan, Natalie) and my boyfriend (Jake), have been instrumental in the development of my business’ vision, themes, and planning. My Mom, who is an interior designer, has such strong creative prowess. I think she’d like me to compare her to her favorite painter, Mary Cassatt, but my Mom is on an entirely higher level of skill in respect to holistic design. She has contributed to the design of my business cards, packaging, and jewelry displays. She’s also been a strong voice for Charmed by Ingrid Anne, promoting my products everywhere she goes. My Mom has played a pivotal role in my organization, sales management, and expansion of my business connections. She is the queen of efficiency!

My boyfriend has also been extremely connected to Charmed by Ingrid Anne’s initiatives. He’s helped to make those last minute runs to the post office, accompany me to bead stores (he’s even made a few brave trips alone to our local San Francisco bead store), and has been an incredible support system in offering sage advice for developing a more strategic business plan. I’m so lucky to be able to lean on him for advice and guidance. I’ve been spending the vast majority of my evenings focused on Charmed, so I’m very grateful that he’s decided to dedicate himself to my successes and help me take this dream of mine to an entirely new level. (Although I’m sure he wishes that I take a break to watch ESPN and FNL with him every once in a while..!)

Anthony Patane, who designed this website, has been a great web developer to work with. He’s been communicative, responsive and understanding. If anyone is looking for a web developer, he comes highly recommended. He understands his client’s visions and, as a photographer, has a keen sense for design and the arts.

Colson Griffith was the mastermind behind my jewelry’s photography. I met Colson at Santa Clara University, where I attended college, and we reconnected after several years to take photos for my website. He is outrageously personable, artistic, and an impressive photographer.

Thanks to all of my friends and fans for your support and for your love of jewelry and design! Please continue to read these blog posts as I update you on my adventures, successes and thoughts (as a new business woman!)
