Growing up, like all girls, I loved to shop. While others looked for new outfits or shoes, I gravitated towards jewelry. Yes, the brilliant collections hiding behind counters at boutiques, department stores, and street vendors. At first, this interest stemmed from a love for accessorizing. As I grew up, my interest evolved. I found myself looking beyond the style of jewelry and instead, analyzing the intricate design of the pieces and trying to understand the manner in which each necklace, earring and bracelet was crafted. After college, I began exploring the art of jewelry making simply as a fun way to give gifts. This is where the vision of Charmed by Ingrid Anne came to life.
The inspiration behind my pieces comes from my own personal style – simple, urban, and unique. My line has no boundaries and my creativity comes from making things I know I will want to wear. I play with a myriad of textures and bright colors. I pride myself on precise wire wrapping. As a buyer, I know the importance of quality and detail.
I also value the need for customization. I’m not the only one who likes to be unique and illustrate their identity through fashion! I love custom requests – it helps expand my horizons as a designer.
